Malé Leváre

Malé Leváre ( German miniature contactors, Hungarian Kislévárd, latin parvo Levardinum ) is a municipality in western Slovakia.

The municipality is located in Záhorská nížina ( a part of the Vienna Basin ), which belongs to the region Zahorie, north of the river Rudava and a channel ( Malolevársky kanál ). West of the village is situated the nature reserve Zahorie the border river Morava. The city Malacky is 10 km away.

The village was mentioned in documents for the first time in 1377 as Kyslew and belonged to the estate of Castle bladder stone. The village has a church from 1654.
