Mallarmé prize

The Prix Mallarmé is a prestigious French literary award for poetry, the French-speaking poets will be awarded and by whom an anthology was published in the award year. When the prize was awarded in 1937 for the first time, he was still called Prix de poésie, but the following year he received his still valid name: Prix Mallarmé.

This prize is awarded by the Académie Mallarmé annually in Brive- la -Gaillarde occasion of Books Festival ( foie du Livre de Brive ) and is currently (2013 ) endowed with 3,800 euros. In the years 1941 and 1945, the prize was not awarded.
