Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro

Mamburao is a Philippine municipality in the province of Occidental Mindoro. It has 39,237 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ). Mamburao is the seat of the provincial government of the province of Occidental Mindoro.

Geographical Location

The municipality is located north of Mamburao Occidental Mindoro. It is bordered to the northwest by Paluan, on the northeast by Abra de Ilog, to the east by Puerto Galera in the province of Oriental Mindoro, on the southeast by Santa Cruz. In the southwest lies the Mindorostraße.
