Mame Niang

Mame Cheikh Niang (born 31 March 1984) is a Senegalese football player.

The striker began his football career at ASC Diaraf Dakar in Senegal his homeland. For the season 2005/ 06 changed Niang, who is nicknamed Bri to the Moroka Swallows from Johannesburg in the first league of South Africa. In his first season in South Africa, the attacker scored 14 goals and thus won the trophy for the best scorers in the league, the Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot.

On 24 July 2007 it was announced that the offensive player moves with the strong left foot for the season 2007/ 08 for VfL Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga. In August 2008, Niang was given until the end of the year at Viking Stavanger, where he received a terminal contract at the end of the loan.

On 11 May 2011 it was announced that since January without clubs Niang has signed a contract with Supersport United. The contract ran until 2013. 2013 plays Mame Niang at Pretoria University FC.

Mame Niang played in many junior teams of his native country. So far he has posted double inserts in the senior national team of Senegal.
