Manuel José Vieira

Manuel José Azevedo Vieira ( born February 2, 1981 in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal ) is a Portuguese football player. Currently, the defender is out of contract. It is used mainly as a right defender.

Manuel José started his career at FC Porto in 2000 and was awarded in 2001 for half a year at CF União Lamas. Then he returned to FC Porto. In January 2003, he moved to Académica Coimbra. However, he stayed there again only half a year and moved to Vitória Guimarães. From January 2004 to June 2005, he played for Vitória Setúbal, after which he signed a contract with Boavista Porto. In 2006, the club and came to CFR Cluj. On February 6, 2009, it was announced that he has terminated his contract. He played on 1 December 2008 his last game for Cluj. His team won 2-1 against Gaz Metan Medias.
