2007–08 Liga I

The League 1 2007 /08 was the 70th season in the history of the highest Romanian football League 1 began on 27 July 2007 and ended on 7 May 2008. Between mid- December to end of February rested the game operation ( winter break ). Champion CFR Cluj.

Regulate

The League 1 played with 18 teams. The four last-place teams were relegated to the Liga II, ascended from the four teams ( the top two from each of the two seasons ). For a victory, there were three points for a draw and one point for a loss no points. If two or more teams finish the season were tied, decided not goal difference, but a direct comparison.

Results

1 Since Delta Tulcea was denied the promotion in the League 1, Piatra Neamt Ceahlăul was allowed to stay in the league.
