2007–08 Gambrinus liga

The Gambrinus League 2007/ 08 was the 15th season of the highest Czech league in football, the Gambrinus Liga. It took place from August 5, 2007 until May 17, 2008 a winter break of 10 December 2007 to 15 February 2008. 16 teams played a total of 30 game days divided into a back and a second round each against each other twice. For a victory, there were three, one for a draw and a defeat for no point. Master was at the end of the season the team with the most points, relegated to the second league had the two teams with the least points.

From the 2nd league 2006/ 07 two clubs in Prague had risen, FK Viktoria Zizkov and Bohemians 1905 Prague, which replaced the two relegated FK Marila Pribram and 1.FC Slovácka.

From the Gambrinus League 2007/ 08, the Czech champions qualified for the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League 2008 / 09, the runner-up qualified for the second qualifying round. In the UEFA Cup 2008/ 09 third-placed (second qualifying round ) and Cup Winners' Cup starts ( first round ). In the UEFA Intertoto Cup 2008 FK Teplice starts

Czech champion in 2007 /08 was Slavia Prague, was runner- Sparta Prague. For the UEFA Cup FC Banik Ostrava, the qualified. The FK Teplice qualified in fifth for the Intertoto Cup, as the fourth- 1.FC Brno did not report for this competition.

The first was relegated after the 28th matchday of the FK SIAD Most fixed. Second was relegated Bohemians 1905 Prague.

As inferior Cup finalist, FC Slovan Liberec qualified for the second qualifying round of the UEFA Cup in 2008 /09.
