Milan Ivana

Milan Ivana (* November 26, 1983 in Kálnica ) is a Slovak football player who is under contract 98 since the 2013/14 season at third division SV Darmstadt.

Career

Clubs

Ivana played in his youth for Zavažan Kálnica and Považan Nové Mesto nad Váhom. At 15, he moved to AS Trenčín, for which he came to the first league inserts later. In January 2004, the fast, technically gifted and prolific striker has been committed by the Czech first division club FC Synot 1. In its first year only 1.70 m wide talent came to 13 stakes and scored three goals. In the season 2004/ 05 Ivana already belonged to the root formation and scored four goals in 27 games. In the season 2005/ 06 he was charged with eleven goals in 29 games top scorer of the Gambrinus Liga, the top division in the Czech Republic. In September 2006, failed after several attempts a transfer to FC Zurich. In July 2007, he completed a trial with second division club Borussia Mönchengladbach, a short time later he moved to Slavia Prague. There, the Slovak could not enforce; in the 2008 /09 season he came to to 17 inserts, of which, however, only two of beginning. End of July 2009 saw the attacker to top Slovak Club ŠK Slovan Bratislava where he was in 2010 and 2011 Cup Winners' Cup and 2011 Champions.

In January 2012 he joined after a successful trial free transfer to the German third division Wehen for which he signed a valid until the end of the current season contract. He was also in the following season for the Hessians before his contract was not renewed in the summer of 2013. On 29 July 2013, the SV Darmstadt 98 was the commitment Ivana for a season known.

National

Ivana, who had completed numerous games in the youth national teams of Slovakia and had been captain of the U- 21 team, making his debut on 31 March 2004 in the senior national team, the in Bratislava a 1-1 draw in the Test match against the selection of Austria achieved.
