The Divizia A 1975/76 was the 38th season in the history of Romanian football league Divizia A. It began on August 17, 1975 and ended on 20 June 1976. From mid-December to early March rested the game operation ( winter break ). Champion Steaua Bucharest.

The Divizia A played with 18 teams. The three last-place teams were relegated in the Divizia B. For a victory, there were two points for a draw and one point for a loss no points.
