Marc Cavosie

Marc Cavosie ( born August 6, 1981 in Albany, New York ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since August 2013 in the Bietigheim Steelers DEL2 under contract.

Career

Cavosie began his career in ice hockey team of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the National Collegiate Athletic Association, where he is always with his brother Eric aground together. During his college years, he was drafted by the Minnesota Wild, but denied a single game for them. Instead, he became one of the fixed team player of the Houston Aeros in the American Hockey League, which he left after three years and moved to the Philadelphia Phantoms. In the season 2006/ 07 he ventured for the first time to move to Europe and signed a contract with Rögle BK, which at this time in the second highest Swedish Match Plasse, the Allsvenskan, played. There, however, he did not find his form and took it to only six assists in 27 missions.

In the following three years he moved between several teams in the American minor leagues before he was hired by the Slovenian Club HK Jesenice in the summer of 2010.

Internationally

Cavosie also denied a U-20 World Cup for the U.S. team and was with six points from seven games, fourth- best scorer of the team.
