Marco Bührer

Marco Buehrer (* October 9, 1979 in Dielsdorf ZH ) is a Swiss professional ice hockey goaltender who is under contract with SC Bern of the National League A since 2001.

Career

His time spent as a junior Marco Buehrer the EHC EHC Kloten Bülach and the. For Kloten he played during the 1998/99 season his first NLA game as Reto Pavoni was injured. After a season in the NLB when HC Thurgau, he moved to the 2000/ 01 season through to EHC Chur in the National League A ( NLA ) and the following year he moved to SC Bern.

Marco Buehrer has been playing the 2001/ 02 season with SC Bern, where he then became the successor of the goalkeeping legend Renato Tosio. Since then, he is the undisputed number 1 in the goal of SC Bern.

With the SC Bern he was in 2003/ 04 for the first time in his career Swiss champion. In the 2006/07 season he reached the SCB the playoff final, but failed on HC Davos. In the seasons 2009/10 and 2012/2013 he won his second and third Swiss championship with the Bernese. Internationally

Marco Buehrer began early in his career to represent his country at international championships.
