Marcus Herennius (consul 93 BC)
Marcus Herennius was a Roman politician of the late Republic.
About 108 or 107 BC was Herennius triumvir monetalis ( mint master ). No later than 96 BC, he must have held the office of praetor, as he 93 BC as the first member of his family (homo novus ) arrived at the consulate. Herennius could rely to prevail against Lucius Marcius Philippus, who reached the consulate until two years later. Marcus Tullius Cicero mentions Herennius than mediocre speakers.
