Margaret Dayton

Margaret Dayton is an American politician ( Republican).

Life

Dayton attended Brigham Young University, where he received a bachelor of science in nursing. Now, several years as a registered nurse. After her marriage, she gave up her career and became a housewife.

It was by Governor Michael Leavitt appointed to the House of Representatives from Utah for the vacant seat of Lee Ellertson re- occupied in 1996. At the next election the House of Representatives in Dayton have been confirmed as members of parliament. They belonged to the House of Representatives from Utah order of 25 July 1996 to 31 December 2006. Since 1 January 2007, it is Senator in the Senate of Utah for the 15th District.

The Utah System of Higher Education awarded her an honorary doctorate.
