Reception

As an actress she has established with its many international engagement, and her directing work as well as her work as a vocalist were well received by critics and audiences. But her step into the forefront of public attention not succeeded due to her not getting the media zeitgeist corresponding occurrence and the amounts surviving continuous exposure to international blockbusters. This has never stated this as their goal, rather, the choice of their roles by a wide variety and not always by special showmanship honors.

In Portugal it is quite well known by the media reports of their international performances and through her work as an actress and singer, but also through public appearances in Portugal, such as protests against the austerity programs at the expense of the population, or even with the support of the curious presidential candidacies the singer and artist Manuel João Vieira. Your reputation is lower than in France and especially than in Spain, where it is more common than in other countries perceived as politically engaged artist in Germany. She won sympathy by her humble and friendly nature of the audience near- occurrence, but also by their dedicated attitude towards social grievances in general and the persistent current financial crisis in particular, such as when she answered El Mundo readers' questions for the conservative Spanish newspaper

Your sophisticated, wide-ranging work, and their constant partisan involvement in social issues, prompted the UNESCO, they excel 2008 as an artist for peace. She is also an ambassador of the European Film Prize, " European Oscar" of the European Film Academy.
