Maria Marconi

Maria Marconi ( born August 28, 1984 in Rome) is an Italian water jumper.

Marconi won so far three medals at European Swimming Championships. At the European Championships in Berlin in 2002 they reached together with Tania Cagnotto Bronze at 3 m synchro competition. From each 1 m- board, they also won in 2006 and 2009 in Budapest bronze in Turin silver.

Marconi has attended several World Swimming Championships. Her best result was a fourth place from the 1 -meter board in 2011 in Shanghai and a sixth place finish at the 2009 World Cup home in Rome. At the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 and in Beijing in 2008, she took part in each of 3 m springboard diving board. She reached the ranks of 30 and 17

Maria Marconi is the sister of the equally successful diver Nicola Marconi and Tommaso Marconi.
