Marika Gombitová
Marika Gombitová ( born September 12, 1956 in Turany nad Ondavou, Czechoslovakia; actually Mária Gombitová ) is a Slovak pop singer and composer.
Life
End of the 1970s she sang with the group mode. Her career was interrupted by a car accident on an icy road near Brno on 30 November 1980 has been paralyzed since Gombitová. She returned after half a year back before the spectators. The late 1990s, she retired into private life. Her songs are played in the Slovak and Czech Radio. Her interpretation of the song Vyznanie ( The Confession) was chosen by the Slovak television viewers to hit the century 2007.
