Mark Parker

Mark Parker (c. 1956 in Poughkeepsie, New York, USA) since January 2006, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nike.

Life

In 1977, he put his Bachelor of Science at Pennsylvania State University for Political Sciences. Parker came in 1979 as a designer and development manager at Nike. Two years later, he became Director of designs, concepts and development. 1998 to 2001 he was Vice President of Global Footwear and then president of Nike Brand. In 2006, he was followed by William Perez as CEO. Parker has a private art collection with works among others the following artists: Andy Warhol, Mark Ryden, Kris Kuksi, Todd Shorr, Tim Biskup, Sas Christian, Sebastian Kruger, Charles Krafft, Scott Musgrove, Michael Leavitt and Randy Regier.
