Martin Flämig

Flämig Martin ( born August 19, 1913 in Aue, † January 13, 1998 in Dresden ) was a German church musician, a Protestant regional church music director and cantor in Dresden.

Life

After his state examination as a church musician Flämig joined the succession of Franciscus Nagler to a cantor of the St. Matthew Church in Leisnig. From there he came first to chubs, before he was in 1948 as a successor to his former teacher Alfred bull cantor at the Dresden Church of Reconciliation. A year later, he founded the National Church Music School.
