Marvel Cinematic Universe

The Marvel Cinematic Universe ( MCU) is a series of comic book movies that were produced independently by Marvel Studios.

Film Series

So far, 14 films in the series have been published in non- chronological order. Nine of them screened in cinemas; the remaining five are short films and was known as Marvel One-Shots. They were released with the Blu-rays of movies. In addition, some comics to movie universe have been published that the action of other characters, such as the Black Widow, show in addition to the films, and are also considered as an integral part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film universe is also divided into phases, where the first phase consists of Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America - The First Avenger and The Avengers is. The Phase 2 currently consists of Iron Man 3, Thor - The Dark Kingdom and published in March The Return of the First Avenger and is still the films Guardians of the Galaxy and the sequel to Marvel's The Avengers included. For the third phase, a film about Ant -Man and the sequels to Thor 2 and The Avengers 2 are planned.

Series

Since 2013, the U.S. broadcaster ABC under the title Marvel's Agents of SHIELD the other a branch in the same fictional universe television series about the organization SHIELD produced. The broadcast began on 24 September 2013.

Movies in planning

In 2014, the superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy get its own film, directed by James Gunn. The cast will include, among others, Chris Pratt, Dave Batista and Zoë Saldaña and give Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper for their voices to the animated main actors.
