Mashonaland East Province

Mashonaland East ( German Ostmaschonaland ) is a province in the north- eastern Zimbabwe. It is 32.230 km ² and has 1.1 million inhabitants ( 2002). Marondera is the capital of Mashonaland East.

The province is divided into nine districts:

• Goromonzi
• Hwedza
• Marondera
• Mudzi
• Murewa
• Mukoto
• Seke
• Ump
