Particulars
The company Masterbulk based in Singapore was established in 1995 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Norwegian shipping company Westphalian -Larsen to bereedern their fleet of open multi -purpose bulk carriers. By the year 1995, these ships of Star Shipping which belonged until then 50% each to Westfalen- Larsen and Grieg Shipping, were marketed. After a partial separation 1995 Star Shipping is a subsidiary of the Norwegian shipping company Grieg Shipping and Masterbulk.
Masterbulk today has a fleet of 23 open multi-purpose bulk carriers, which are primarily engaged in the transportation of Ladungungsarten forest products, pulp, paper, bulk cargo, containers and project cargoes.
