Maury (crater)

Maury is a small lunar impact crater on the northeast front with numerous secondary craters. It is located on the eastern edge of the Lacus Somniorum, to the east lie the craters Cepheus and Franklin. The crater is bowl-shaped and slightly eroded.

The crater was named by the IAU by the oceanographer Matthew Fontaine Maury and the astronomer Antonia Maury.
