Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor

The Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor (Chinese黄帝陵, Pinyin ling Huangdi, the Yellow Emperor Mausoleum of English / Yellow Emperor's Mausoleum ) is located on the Qiaoshan (桥 山) in the circle Huang Ling of China's Shaanxi province. It is said the Yellow Emperor ( Huangdi ) - who is revered as the common ancestor of all Han Chinese - whether in Xinzheng, a small city in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan, born and buried in the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor.

The mausoleum stands since 1961 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 1-162 ).

The sacrificial ceremonies of the mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor ( Huangdi ling jidian黄帝陵 祭典) are on the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the People's Republic of China.
