Maximilian Heidenreich
Maximilian Heidenreich ( born May 9, 1967 in Hannover ) is a former German football player.
Career as a player
Hannover 96
When the then second division club Hannover 96 in front of the 1984/85 season before financial problems, filled coach Werner Biskup on the squad with young talent. So also Heidenreich was brought as a seventeen year old from the A- youth of Hannover 96. In his first year as a professional he could play in the trunk of the '96 squad and helped by consistent performances with his club to promotion to the 1st Bundesliga. FC Bayern Munich reported to be interested in the young playmaker, the expert certified great talent. For a change, there was then no. In the Bundesliga season 1985/86, the Hanover rose again in the second league, but Heidenreich counted continue to the permanent staff.
1860 Munich, Eintracht Frankfurt and FC Basel
In the season 1987/88 Heidenreich played for TSV 1860 Munich in the Bavarian League. In 1988 he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt, but could not prevail there. In 1990, he moved to an interim additional year in Hanover for two years to FC Basel.
SC Freiburg
Between 1993 and 1997 he played under coach Volker Finke for SC Freiburg in the 1st Bundesliga, with whom he finished 3rd in 1995 and was able to qualify the team for the UEFA Cup. Under Finke Heidenreich was mainly used in defense of three at the back. The big breakthrough for the national team, as at this time his club Freiburg colleague Jens Todt Jörg Heinrich, he remained, however, denied.
In 1997 he moved to VfL Wolfsburg and still played 10 games until he his pro career trailed off at SG Wattenscheid 1999.
Career as a coach
From early 2001 until shortly before the end of the 2007/2008 season coached Heidenreich Freiburger FC, who played continuously in the Federation League Südbaden under his leadership. In summer 2009, Heidenreich signed as coach of SV Weil, who also plays in the Association League South Baden. He also coached nor the C- juniors Blue-White Wiehre. For the 2011/2012 season he moved to league rivals FC Denzlingen.
