Medenychi

Medenytschi (Ukrainian Меденичі; Russian Меденичи / Medenitschi, Polish Medenice ) is an urban-type settlement in Rajon Drohobytsch the Lviv Oblast in western Ukraine.

The town was first mentioned in writing in 1395 and contributed to 1990 the Ukrainian name Medenyzja ( Медениця ). The distance to the south-west to Drohobytsch is almost 20 kilometers.
