Mehdi Meriah

Mehdi Meriah ( born June 5, 1979) is a Tunisian football player who (previously Etoile Sportive de Sahel ), and currently plays for Club Africain in the Tunisian national football team. He is a defender, but can also be used as a midfielder.

On 1 July 2009 Mehdi Meriah took a three -year contract at the Club Africain in Tunis.

He stood in the squad by Roger Lemerre in the Football World Cup 2006 in Germany. However, he had to return home before the first game. He was replaced because of a leg injury by Haykel Gmamdia the French first division relegated Racing Strasbourg.
