Mehrzad Marashi

Mehrzad Marashi (Persian مهرزاد مرعشی, born September 20, 1980, Iran ) is a German soul and R & B singer of Iranian descent. He is the winner of the seventh season of the talent show Germany sucht den Superstar. Initially Marashi also appeared under the name Marasco.

Life

Mehrzad Marashi grew up to the age of six on in the Iranian capital Tehran. His father was in the military profession in the Shah's time. 1986 the family emigrated for political reasons, to Germany, where Hamburg became their new home.
