Meijel

Meijel ( listen? / I ) was a town in the Dutch province of Limburg. The population is about 6,000 (as of 2009 ). The place has an area of ​​20 km ², of which 0.25 km ² is covered with water. January 1, 2010 Meijel was merged together with heroes, boilers and Maasbree to the new community Peel en Maas.

The bike path on the north Fietsallee channel runs through the town.
