Međimurje County
The Međimurje County [ mɛdʑimu rjɛ ː ] ( kroat. Međimurska županija, roughly translates to Zwischenmurland, or Mesopotamia - Murgegend, Hungarian Muraköz megye, prek. Medmürska žüpanija ) is the northernmost county of Croatia. It covers the landscape Međimurje ( German also Mur Island ) between the rivers Drava and Mura on the border with Slovenia and Hungary. The Međimurje County has an area of 730 km2 and 113 804 inhabitants ( 2011 census ). My office is located in Čakovec.
