Mêlée (band)

Mêlée is a four-piece alternative rock band from Orange County, California.

History

After grueling tours and 15.000 records sold their album Everyday Behavior, published in Sub City / Hopeless 2004, major labels took notice of the band and offered them a record deal. Finally Mêlée signed to Warner Bros. Records. There they have recorded some videos for some of their songs, including The War and Built to Last.

When recording their major label debut, Devils & Angels 34 songs were available. The album was released on April 3, 2007 in the USA and was produced by Howard Benson, who had already participated in albums by The All- American Rejects, My Chemical Romance, Mae, Daughtry and Papa Roach. Adam Harrison is manager of the band.

Mêlée occurred on 7 July 2007 in the show This Week in Baseball on FOX, where they identified themselves as fans of the Los Angeles Angels. During the interview was played in the background Built to Last.

On 18 April 2008 released their first single in Germany Built to Last.
