Memorial Van Damme
The Memorial Van Damme is an athletics meeting, which is held annually in August or September at the King Baudouin stadium in Brussels.
For the first time the Memorial in 1977 was organized by a group of journalists, in honor of Ivo Van Damme, who previously died in a car accident one years died. The meeting was from 1993 to 1997 to the Golden Four. After that, it was part of the Golden League and since 2010 it is part of the Diamond League.
