Michael Angerschmid

Michael Angerschmid ( born February 24, 1974 in Schärding ) is a retired Austrian football player at the position of midfielder and since December 2012 the head coach of SV Ried, for which he has completed 406 professional league games in his career.

Life

Michael Angerschmid played his entire career with the SV Ried, almost always as a defender. Overall, the Upper Austrians played 277 games in the highest Austrian league for the SV Ried, scoring 13 goals. In his last season 2005/ 06 he played 22 times and scored 1 goal. In that year he was first runner-up, what his greatest achievement was in addition to the victory in the OFB Cup 1997/98 in elite sport.

After finishing his playing career was Angerschmid coach of SV Ried amateurs. In his first season 2007/2008 he managed the team playing in a lottery syndicate with the SV Neuhofen, the rise of the district league in the national league west. In the 2008/2009 season, the SpG Neuhofen / Ried managed to march through, was promoted as champions and thus fixed the rise in the Upper Austria League ( fourth power). For the last three games of the season 2007/2008 was Angerschmid interim coach of SV Ried, in which he reached two draws and a defeat. From the 2008/ 09 season he was the team of head coach Paul Gludovatz also assistant coach of SV Ried, in December 2012 he was promoted to head coach.
