Michael Klauß (footballer born 1987)

Michael Klauss ( born April 20, 1987 in Sindelfingen ) is a German football player.

Career

In 2006, Klauß of the youth of the GSV Maichingen to the second team of VfB Stuttgart. He played two years regularly in the midfield of the team, without actually being a regular player. In the 2007 /08 season, the U 23 VfB for the newly created League third qualifying. His professional debut was Klauß 26 July 2008 on the opening day of the 2008/09 season against Kickers Offenbach. In his first year as a pro, he was a regular player in the storm of Swabia. The following year, he was the first place in the second round back regularly on the court, but then usually only as a substitute.

In January 2010, Klauss completed a trial with former regional league VfR Aalen, but a subsequent commitment did not materialize despite Aalen interest. Then Klauß left the Stuttgart after the season and signed for SSV Jahn Regensburg a two year contract from the season 2010/11. In his first year he first came on as a substitute often used in the second half he was becoming a regular player. The following year, he was then set as left winger. This also had an impact on its success rate: With nine goals in 30 games, he was second best scorer of the team. Through the achievement of 3rd place two relegation matches against Karlsruher SC for him or came afterwards to stand at the end of the rise of the SSV Jahn Regensburg in the 2nd Bundesliga.
