Michael Levy, Baron Levy

Michael Abraham Levy, Baron Levy of Mill Hill in the London Borough of Barnet ( born July 11, 1944 in London ) is a British managers, entrepreneurs, official Jewish organizations and Labour Party politician, who since 1997 as a life peer member of the House of Lords.

By Letters Patent dated 23 September 1997 Levy was raised in the London Borough of Barnet to the peerage as a life peer with the title Baron Levy of Mill Hill. Levy, of the B'nai B'rith Award received in 1994, was honored in 1998 with the Scopus Award of the Friends of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1999 and received an honorary doctorate from Middlesex University. In 2003, he was finally awarded the Special Prize of the Israel Policy Forum in New York City.
