Michel Bergeron Trophy

The Trophée Michel Bergeron (English Michel Bergeron Trophy ) is a Quebec Major Junior Trophy Hockey League. It has been awarded annually since 1981 to the best rookie in the league all offensive players.

Parallel also since 1981, the Trophée Raymond Lagacé is awarded for the best league newcomer among the defensive players. For the best league newcomer among all players since 1992 serving the Coupe RDS. By 1981, the time when LHJMQ Recrue de l' année (English QMJHL Rookie of the Year ) award known recorded the best rookie from among all players.

The trophy is named after Michel Bergeron, who in the QMJHL was active as a player 1971-1974 and later played for the Detroit Red Wings and Washington Capitals in the National Hockey League.
