RDS Cup

The Coupe RDS ( RDS English Cup) is an ice hockey trophy in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. It has been awarded annually since 1992 to the best league Newcomer ( rookie ). The trophy is sponsored by Réseau des sports, a Canadian TV channel. From 1992 to 1994 the trophy as Molson Cup and awarded in 1995 as New Face Cup.

In parallel with the Coupe RDS the Trophée Michel Bergeron for the best offensive player among the rookies and the Trophée Raymond Lagacé for the best defensive players are already in use among all rookies since 1981. Between 1969 and 1980 the award for LHJMQ Recrue de l' année served as a trophy for the best rookie in all league newcomers.
