Michel Roger

Michel Roger ( born March 9, 1949 in Poitiers, France) is Minister of State, and thus head of government of the Principality of Monaco. He is French. The independent lawyer is the successor of the late Jean -Paul Proust.

Life

From 1970 to 1973 Roger worked as a lawyer. As a technical consultant, he was employed in the subsequent years, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Planning and Regional Development. He then worked from 1981 as a lecturer at the University of Poitiers. Roger was in 1984 director of the Ecole du Centre- Ouest of lawyers and the Institute of jurisprudential study at the Faculty of Poitiers. After that, he was in 1986, first officer in the Minister of National Education and then from 1987 to 1988 his chief of staff 's office. From 1992 to 1998 he was Advisor to the President of the Senate and 2002-2005 adviser to the cabinet of Jean -Pierre Raffarin. Since March 29, 2010 he is head of the government of Monaco.
