Michael T. "Mike" Scifres ( born October 8, 1980 in Metairie, Louisiana, United States) is an American professional American football player. He plays as a punter in the National Football League ( NFL ) for the San Diego Chargers.

Playing career

Scifres graduated from Western Illinois University and played there also American football. Because of his performances, he was elected several times to select players.
