Milotice nad Bečvou

Milotice nad Bečvou ( German Milotice at the Bečva ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers south-east of Hranice and belongs to Okres Přerov.

Geography

Milotice nad Bečvou is located on the right side of the Bečva in the Moravian Gate. Through the village the main road I/35 / E rail line Hranice na Moravě - Vsetín runs 442 Hranicky after Valašské Meziříčí and on the southern periphery. To the north of the Na Strážnici collected ( 353 m), in the northeast of Bušlín (333 m) and in the southwest of Stražisko (335 m). South of Milotice extends in the Bečvaaue a Board composed of five ponds pond area.

History

The first written mention of Milotici took place in 1131 in a freight directory of the Olomouc Bishop Heinrich Zdik. In 1263 the village as Milotiz, 1492 Milotice, 1675 Milotice, 1718 Millotitz and 1771 Milotitium was called. The parish registers are performed in Hustopeče nad Bečvou since 1683.

After the abolition of patrimonial Milotice / Millotitz formed in 1850 a district of the municipality Hustopeč in the District Commission Moravian white churches. From 1858 Milotice formed a separate municipality. The first school was established in 1875. From 1881 worked Arnost Dadák as teachers and principals in Milotice. He was the initiator and editor of appearing in Valašské Meziříčí since 1890 agricultural trade journal Valašský hospodář. As of 1896, the magazine was published in Milotice under the name Milotičky hospodář. 1884, the railway was taken. The brothers Jambor founded in 1908 a factory for carriages and agricultural implements. In addition, at this time there was a mill with a sawmill. Since 1909, the city leads the official name Milotice nad Bečvou / Milotice at the Bečva. After the First World War, the Milotičky was hospodář the common agricultural journal of Czechoslovakia and also the large and small calendar of the sheet enjoyed great popularity. In 1924 in Milotice the first municipally owned printing company in the country. 1928 was the village of connection to the electricity network. The road to Litschel ( Hranické Loučky ) was created in 1931. During the years 1935-1936 the doubling of the railway line Hranice - Vsetín and 1939 the construction of the road Hranicky after Valašské Meziříčí was. After the abolition of Okres Hranice Milotice nad Bečvou in 1960 associated with the Okres Přerov. In 1976, the port of the village at the Local National Committee ( MNV ) Hustopeče nad Bečvou and 1983 the utter incorporation.
