Mission Top Secret

Note: Top Secret! ( Original title: Mission Top Secret ) is an Australian youth and action series. Following a pilot film in 1990 (The Eye of Solomon ) emerged in 1992/93 and 1995 two squadrons, each with six episodes of 85 minutes. In addition, there is an alternative version in which each episode consists of four parts of 25 minutes each, which each include a retrospective look at the last and a preview of the next episode. The pilot aired in four parts from November 1992, not yet repeated. The other episodes ran in Germany from October 1994 several times in both versions. Currently, the series is no longer visible within the ARD, because the broadcast rights have expired in the meantime ( first season: the end of 2012, second season: end of 2007).

Action

In the pilot, the young Spaniard Pedro encountered during a hike through Australia randomly on a computer technically equipped secret headquarters, the Centauri headquarters. In the following, he fights with a team against the arch-villain Neville Savage, who will also be in the further consequences of the opponent Centauri children.

The first season deals with the brothers Albert and Victoria Wiggins, whose parents died and who had to leave an orphanage in Sydney because of behavioral problems, after which they were adopted by her uncle Sir Joshua Cranberry. Cranberry is an inventor and tinkerer, away from the Sydney home to a super computer in the basement of his farm. This is due to a technical coincidence the center of the Centauri network, a global network of intercommunicating children. By Centauri of the arch villain Nevill Savage will henceforth be deterred to lead his dark intrigue, usually for their own benefit, to success. For example prevents Centauri at the beginning that Savage gets to important data from the LAstrotel Spacelab project, in which the deceased father of Victoria and Albert had worked.
