Mlékosrby

Mlékosrby ( German Mlikosirb ) is a municipality in Okres in Hradec Králové Hradec Králové Region in the Czech Republic. Mlékosrby has 237 inhabitants (2007) and covers an area of 5.8 km ². The community is located about 25 km west of the town of Hradec Kralove, about 40 km from the Czech-Polish border, at an altitude of 237 meters above sea level.

Etymology

The name part MLEKO - literally means milk and Srby is derived from the proper name of the Serbs / Sorbs.

History

The first mention of the village dates from the year 1343 Mlékosrby, as a " Jan de Mlékosrby " was recorded.
