Mohammad-Ali Najafi

Mohammad- Ali Najafi (Persian محمدعلی نجفی Mohammad Najafi, Mohammad- ʿ Alī DMG Naǧafī; born January 13, 1952 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian politician and professor of mathematics at the Sharif University of Technology.

Mohammad- Ali Najafi was from 1981 to 1984 Minister of Science and Technology, and from 1989 to 1997 Minister of Education. Najafi was nominated again in August 2013 as an Iranian Education Minister of the government of Hassan Rohani, but not confirmed by the Iranian Parliament.
