Mollans-sur-Ouvèze

Mollans -sur -Ouvèze is a commune in the Drôme department in the Région Rhône -Alpes with 1070 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011). He belongs to the canton of Buis- les- Baronnies in the arrondissement of Nyons.

Nature and sights

The village lies on the eponymous river Ouvèze fairly centrally between Buis- les- Baronnies and Vaison -la -Romaine. Worth seeing are the castle high above the town and the historic buildings on the market square.

Economy and Transport

By Mollans earlier led a railway. On the railway line there is now a cycle path. On the way you can go from Buis -les -Baronnies Vaison -la -Romaine. The village lies on the regional road D4 and D5, which bypass the place today.
