Monic Cecconi-Botella

Monique Cecconi - Botella (also: Monic Cecconi - Botella, born September 30, 1936) is a French composer and music teacher.

Cecconi - Botella studied composition at the Paris Conservatory with Jean Rivier and Henri Dutilleux, counterpoint and fugue with Simone Plé - Caussade and harmony with Maurice Duruflé. In 1966 she won the Grand Prix de Rome.

From 1973 to 1975 she was a staff member of the concert organization Itinéraire, then they taught harmony, counterpoint and fugue at the Conservatoire of Aubervilliers. In 1982, she was Professor of Music Analysis at the Paris Conservatory.

In addition to chamber music and symphonic works composed Cecconi - Botella several operas, including Noctuaile, which received the Grand Prize of the Académie du Disque français et du Film Musical, Il signait ... Vincent about the Lebenn Vincent van Gogh and the children's operas Opera Clown, Pirlipipi and Le triangle de cristal.
