Montcet
Montcet is a commune with 668 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Ain , in the Rhône -Alpes; it belongs administratively to the arrondissement Bourg -en- Bresse and Canton Viriat.

Geography
The municipality is located in the Bresse region, approximately 25 kilometers southeast of Macon and eight kilometers west of Bourg -en- Bresse. Neighboring communities of Montcet are:
- Polliat in the north,
- Buellas in the east,
- Montracol in the south and
- Vandeins in the West.
The village lies in the valley of the river Irance, which, coming in the municipal area attracts a large loop from the southwest and finally attains to the west of the Veyle.
