Moreno Suprapto

Moreno Soeprapto ( born November 14, 1982 in Jakarta ) is a former Indonesian racing driver. He is the younger brother of the racer Ananda Mikola.

Career

Soeprapto his motorsport career began in Formula racing in 2004 in the Asian Formula 3 Championship. He took part in the year in a race. The following season was Soeprapto ninth of the Asian Formula 3 and overall winner of the promotion rating. In 2006, he remained in the Asian Formula 3 Championship. In the race at the Sentul International Circuit, he had a serious accident. Soeprapto went to James Winslow and took off. The impact into the barriers the fuel hoses were destroyed in his car and the fuel ran out. Winslow helped Soeprapto to free himself from the car, which went up in flames a little later, and saved his life. At the end of the season Soeprapto was with five podium finishes in fifth championship course. In addition, he took part in two races of the Asian Formula Renault V6.

In the following winter 2006/2007 Soeprapto debuted in the A1 Grand Prix. He replaced his brother Ananda Mikola for the season finale. Previously Soeprapto had already participated several times in the rookie training for the Indonesian team. Then graduated Soeprapto his third season in the Asian Formula 3 He chose three races for themselves and improved to third place in the drivers' standings. He also began to four races of the Australian Formula 3 Championship. 2008 Soeprapto took part in two races of the Speedcar Series.

Since 2009 Soeprapto participated more in any racing series.
