Morgan Hill is a city in Santa Clara County in the U.S. state of California, with 37 882 inhabitants ( 2010). The geographic coordinates are: 37.13 ° N, 121.64 ° West. The metropolitan area has a size of 30.2 km ².

Founded on November 10, 1906, the city after Hiram Morgan Hill, a resident of San Francisco was named, who had built there in 1884, a country house. The town has developed into a satellite city for high-tech industries in Silicon Valley from a livestock and fruit growers community.
