Mr. Fuji

Harry Fujiwara ( born May 4, 1935 in Honolulu, Hawaii ) is a former Japanese -born American professional wrestler and wrestling manager. He is better known by his ring name Mr. Fuji. In his playing days as a wrestler, he held five times the tag team championship, the WWF.

Career

Fujiwara announced on December 15, 1964 in Hawaii his debut as Mr. Fujiwara. His first title, the NWA Hawaii Tag Team Championship, won by Curtis Iaukea Fujiwarar on January 7, 1965.

Over time, Fujiwara shortened his name to Mr. Fuji and competed in various NWA- member organizations. During this time he was allowed to achieve some titles profits.

WWWF and Independent

From 1972, he appeared in the World Wide Wrestling Federation ( WWWF, now WWE). Here he played alongside Toru Tanaka the "evil Japanese ".
