Muezza

Muezza (Arabic معزة, DMG Mu ʿ izza ) was according to tradition, the cat of Islamic religious leader Muhammad.

About exist some legends: In order not to awaken the sleeping animal in his arm, Muhammad is said to have cut off without hesitation the sleeve of his robe, when he was called to prayer. Similarly, it is said that all cats fall with four paws on the ground because Mohammed stroked the back of his favorite cat after the return of this prayer three times and gave her this gift, or according to another version, because he always stroked tenderly. This legend is, however, not yet mentioned in the Qur'an in the hadiths.
