Geography

History
The municipality was probably already in the 9th century under the lordship of the monastery of Reichenau. Was first documented in 1254 as the village Mulhain. On September 5, 1445, the Confederates burned the village. During the 18th century, the bishop of Constance legal successor of the Reichenau monastery to the founding of the canton of Thurgau was.
